Join us for this month's zMotion All-Camp Ride out of the Cove in Deerfield. This month is a special All-Camp Ride as we will be collecting donations for Julia's Star Foundation to kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The ride is FREE but please make a donation no matter how small.
There will be a 30 and a 60 mile route option. Supported Rest Stops and post ride food!
Julia's Star Foundation was founded in April, 2016 by her parents Alexandra and Lacy Passos along with her sister, Jasmyn Passos three months after the death of their daughter/sister Julia Passos; a beautiful, creative witty and loving 14-year old girl who lost her battle with glioblastoma, a malignant tumor affecting the brain. While Julia was undergoing treatment for cancer, the Passos' met many families who were suffering the same personal agonies that come with such a diagnosis. They also witnessed the crippling financial burdens many families were dealing with - a result of significant costs not covered by health insurance. In order to access the very best treatment available for their children, many parents cash in retirement accounts, mortgage property or pull other children out of college in order to access much needed funds. The financial burdens at home pile up, creating a secondary, devastating stress.
The purpose of the foundation is to help struggling families make a mortgage or utility payment, pay to fix a broken car so that sick children don't miss a treatment or even to just pay for groceries. The needs are great and even the smallest assistance can help give parents some peace of mind and that, specifically, is the impetus for Julia's Star Foundation.

We are SO excited to announce the new location for the 4th Annual Ride for Help Our Military Heroes!! We will be cycling along the scenic A1A this year! This year we have a goal of raising $15,000 for HOMH!
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN AUGUST 15TH!
Help Our Military Heroes a registered 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to restoring mobility and independence to our country’s most severely wounded, injured and ill service men and women by providing fully equipped, adaptive minivans. HOMH assist those who sustained their injuries while on active duty since the start of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. HOMH is donation-driven; ALL non-program expenses are paid by its founding and board members, which means 100% of public donations go toward the purchase of modified minivans for our heroes, as well as support for other programs that help the wounded and injured. HOMH recognizes that every recipient is different, and works with each individual to provide a minivan with modifications specific to his or her needs.
Let's make this Ride for HOMH the best year yet!
