The goal is to educate new riders, improve skills for advanced and intermediiate cyclists, and get members conditioned for upcoming rides throughout the year. Training Camps offer weekly rides to accommodate all skill levels from the novice to the advanced rider.

If you are interested in leading a training camp within the South Florida area, we welcome your leadership! You do not have to be an expert cyclist, but you do have to know how to ride in a group safely and follow all Ride Right, Drive Right. cycling guidelines. Camp Leaders help train and guide cyclists, recruit new riders, support fundraising efforts, and stand out as positive role models for zMotion and the cycling community. As a zMotion member, not only are you part of an active network of nearly 1000 cyclists in South Florida, now, you also have access to our Training Camps! Many of our members have already discovered the benefits of joining one of our training camps. From improving performance to providing ongoing motivation and support, training camps are designed to help you achieve your goals and keep you in motion.  Our camp leaders are some of the most dedicated riders that have a passion for TEAM zMotion, the sport of cycling, and the various charities we represent.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. This isn’t just the motto of Camp Amistad but also an ongoing zMotion motto. We’re all in this together and we’re all here to help out one another. zMotion put Camp Amistad together in order to help fellow cyclists become better riders from learning new techniques to teaching basic bicycle maintenance. Become the teacher or the student by joining and participate in extensive monthly cycling drills, important team building exercises, and explore the beauty of western Broward. Locations and Dates Vary

Camp Bella Veloce Riders is a cycling group just for women! Our purpose is to encourage other women to ride, providing a group where women can feel comfortable riding at their own pace. Ride start time and location will vary month to month, so stay tuned for more details. All ride levels are welcome, we will split the group up accordingly. Ideally we will have 2 groups- 18-21mph and a 16-18mph averaging between 40-80 miles a ride, but will not discourage any women riders from joining us. Start your cycling journey today! FORT LAUDERDALE - Saturdays at 7:30am

Looking for a group ride along beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach?  Camp Bike Tech is the group for you!  Led by the staff of Bike Tech, you can guarantee you’ll be in good hands.  Enjoy a 30-mile scenic bike ride at an intermediate pace in East Fort Lauderdale.  The ride starts at Bike Tech, crosses over the 17th Street Causeway to A1A, traveling north to the Hillsboro Inlet for a quick rest before returning back to the shop.  All are encouraged to join!  Remember, practice makes perfect. MIAMI - Saturdays at 7:30am

Camp Bike Tech Miami hosts a weekly Saturday morning ride touring beautiful Key Biscayne, over the Rickenbacker Causeway. Led by experienced Bike Tech staff, the group rides 30-35 miles at an intermediate (18-21mph) page.  After the ride, refresh yourself with a cold drink and your bike with a tune-up!  All are encouraged to join!  Remember, practice makes perfect.  Join Camp Bike Tech Miami on for the latest riding schedule!

DEERFIELD BEACH/A1A - Saturdays @ 7:00am

Camp Cove riders leave from Deerfield Beach (The Cove/Hillsborough, 1 block west of A1A, 1754 SE 3rd Ct) heading either north or south on A1A. Weekly rides are usually 35-60 miles and consist of 15-20 regulars with speeds of 19-23 mph with flexibility of faster and slower pace lines and distance depending on training schedule and collective group skill. Camp Cove offers a nice pace line, with consistent speed and conversation throughout the rides. Camp Cowboy promises to be a safe and fun experience for intermediate and more experienced riders alike. It's just a great way to break up the work week with a nice safe ride.   We ride safely on the empty streets of the closed for the day industrial park of Sunrise, the new path that connects to Markham Park as well as the empty lanes of the Park,  For those of you nervous about riding on the road alongside traffic, this is a great opportunity, as we very rarely see a car on our rides.  After we lose the benefits of day light savings time we will move to riding in the morning from Bagels 4 U on Stirling and Pine Island were we loop around the quiet streets of Rock Creek and head to the service road alongside Flamingo road as we get our 20  to 25 miles in. After the ride a bite to eat is never out of the question no matter what ride we are doing!

KENDALL - Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30am

Looking for a great group of people to ride with in the Kendall area?  Camp Crank Addicts is your group!  We host regular training rides during the week, as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings.  The weekend morning rides range from 30-45 miles on beautiful scenic routes.  If the weather is inclement, the group may do some sprint training around a safe and designated area. The paces of Camp Crank Addicts’ rides are between 18 - 22mph with a good flow and minimal stopping, except for an occasional mid route coffee.  Camp Crank Addicts is run by a group of friends who love to ride – we’re looking for likeminded people to train with.  Join us to have fun, ride safe, get strong, and make friends all while exploring some of the most beautiful bike routes in South Florida. Tuesdays @ 5:30pm Evening Training Ride

  • -Tuesday's route is approx. 30 miles and goes until approx 7:30pm.
  • -Lights are required for the front and rear!
  • -We stay together at the beginning of every drill and regroup at the end of every drill.
  • -All levels of riders are welcome to join this training ride.
  • -We do 2 warm up loops (no drop) then start with different drills while circling around County line Rd. and Trails End to complete a 4 mile loop.
Wednesdays @ 7:00am Training Ride & Run
  • -Wednesday’s route is approx. 30 miles and goes until approx 9:00am.
  • -The run route is 3 miles and goes until 9:45am.
  • -We stay together at the beginning of every drill and regroup at the end of every drill.
  • -All levels of riders are welcome to join this training ride.
  • -We do 2 warm up loops (no drop) then start with different drills while circling around County line Rd. and Trails End to complete a 4 mile loop.
  • -The run is a simple 3 mile out and back course on Holmberg.
  • -Some group members swim at the Coral Springs Aquatic Center after this ride/run at 10:30am, so bring swim clothes and a towel!

Saturdays Training Ride & Run
                 @ 7:00am June 1st to October 31st
                 @ 7:30am November 1st to May 31st

  • -Saturday’s route is approx. 35 miles and goes until approx 9:30am.
  • -We stay together at the beginning of every drill and regroup at the end of every drill.
  • -All levels of riders are welcome to join this training ride.
  • -Parkland/West Boca route (no drop) the group does different drills while riding through Parkland or West Boca.
  • -The group occassionally runs after this ride, so bring your running shoes and join us! Distance is runner's choice.

Sundays Group Ride
                 @ 7:00am June 1st to October 31st
                 @ 7:30am November 1st to May 31st

Sunday’s route offers three options:
1) The short route is approx. 30 miles.
2) The medium route is approx. 45 miles.
3) The long route is approx. 60 miles.

The mission is to ROAD CYCLE, challenge each other in the areas of speed and distance, all levels welcome! If you like to have fun, make new friends, and ride with other cyclists then come out and join us! We will train in Southern Palm Beach & Northern Broward County, mostly along A1A. The goal of this group is to complete the LiveLong Benefiting LiveStrong event, the MS 150 Bike Ride, along with the Horrible Hundred, South Broward Wheelers Century, Kids in Distress Ride, Frank Stark Celebration Ride, and the Mount Dora Bike Festival! HALLANDALE BEACH - Sundays at 6:45am
Camp Dutty Rida’s is a zMotion ride with “international flavor”. The group meets to ride every Sunday at 6:45 am at Bell’s Bike Shop in Hallandale Beach, so pre- and post-ride adjustments are always available. After leaving Bell’s Bike Shop, we often meet up with Camp Ronin Riders and together we ride south to South Beach. There is a brief photo stop at South Pointe Park and a full rest stop on Lincoln Road, before returning back to Bell’s Bikes for a total ride distance of 40 miles. This ride is open to all cyclists who can maintain an average speed of 18-20 mph. While the ride maintains these speeds, there are 3 sprint points so that riders can exert some extra energy. POMPANO BEACH - Sundays at 7:30am
Camp G2 Cycling, commonly known as the G2 Ride, has been around since 2006. The group meets to ride every Sunday at 7:30am in the beach parking lot on A1A and Atlantic Blvd.  We ride north to our Seaside Deli turnaround and Boynton Beach convenience store for a quick break, then back.  We welcome men and women of average to advanced cycling abilities to join us.  Triathletes are encouraged to also ride with us, but please respect the pace line safety: aero-bar use only in front or back.  G2’s average riding speed is 20-24mph, but prepare yourself for some safely designated sprints!  Don’t worry if you fall behind – we’ll always regroup to continue on with the pace line.  With Camp G2 Cycling, you’re guaranteed a fun and challenging ride!

COCONUT CREEK- Sundays at 7:30am

Camp Gear Life’s mission is to encourage, motivate, and promote individuals that share a common interest in cycling. We are an intermediate cycling group and welcome riders who can average 17 mph or above consistently and enjoy improving our speeds, endurance, and distances. We meet at the Publix Shopping Plaza on 6570 N. State Road 7, Coconut Creek, every Sunday at 7:30am and ride between 20-30 miles on average. For updated information on our rides visit:

Boynton Inlet Park – Sundays at 7:30am
Camp Metric Mayhem meets at the Boynton Inlet at 7:30am to ride an average of 40 miles.  Coffee breaks are a must, either halfway through or after the ride!  Rides follow A1A northbound and southbound at 18 to 22 mph.  The camp may split into two levels of riding if the group grows large enough, but no one going at least 18mph will be dropped.  Riders are in safe hands with Coach Rob leading.  A cycling coach from Team in Training, he has coached teams for century rides in Tuscon, Arizona, El Tour de Tucson, Lake Tahoe, America’s Most Beautiful Ride, and Cocoa Beach Intracoastal Century Ride.  All riders are welcome – beginner or experienced!  Coach Rob and company will guide you to become a safe and confident rider. This group rides for fun, exercise and the love of cycling.  Join Camp Metric Mayhem every Sunday at 7:30 to meet some great people who truly love cycling!

KEY BISCAYNE - Saturdays at 7:30am

Camp Miami's default starting point is from Hobe Beach (4000 Rickenbacker Causeway in Key Biscayne) but Max offers various rides opportunities throughout different locations in Miami in order to take advantage of all the city/coastline has to offer. You know the drill. The plan is to go out and ride your bike or run the block. The moment comes but so do the excuses. We’ve been there and we hear you. Joining a social cycling and running camp is the perfect antidote for any excuse. That’s why we put together Camp MS Training. We get together every Monday and Wednesday at 5:30PM to pedal up and kick excuses to the curb. With 3 levels of riders ranging from basic to advanced, there is no reason to feel intimated. Then once FRIDAY comes, we’re ready to unwind with a ride at 6:30PM.  If you ready to ride, then we’re ready to have you join. Just visit for all the details.

HALLANDALE BEACH - Sundays @ 7:00am


Meet at Starbucks located at 1805 E Hallandale Beach Blvd. Hallandale Beach, FL 33009 (park in 2100 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd Transcapital bank parking lot, located on the South side of Hallandale Beach Blvd, Starbucks is located on the North side of Hallandale Beach Blvd.) Pedals up 7am. Travel north thru the beautiful neighborhoods of east Hollywood, then head north to loop around Fort Lauderdale Airport's perimeter road. On longer distance days, continue north to Las Olas through eastern neighborhoods. Finally, head back south down A1A to Hallandale Beach Blvd for a post-ride Starbucks. Ronin Riders camp is for the intermediate level rider. Routes will vary between 30-60 miles. Speeds are between 17-20 mph depending on the group & wind.

WESTON - Sundays @ 8:00am

Previously known as Camp The Steve's, this team is usually referred to as "The Most Good Looking" 5 years running. Along with Camp Latte, this is one of the founding zMotion rides and promises to be a safe and fun experience for both beginner and intermediate riders alike. Camp Steve & Lissette start at Weston Regional Park (20200 Saddle Club Road) in Weston and ride safely within the Weston area, taking advantage of wide bike paths and bike conscious motorists. For those of you nervous about riding on the road along side traffic, this is a great opportunity as Weston is generally very "biker friendly." There are usually two groups riding weekly, either 15-18 mph for 20-30 miles (or) 19-23 mph for 30-50 miles.

Camp Valor hosts zMotion’s northern most training rides, led by the Valor Cycling Club in Jupiter, Florida.  This bicycle friendly community has great scenery, smooth roads and bike lanes abound to make for a beautiful morning ride.  The group rides Saturdays at 7:30am – choose to ride 26 miles at a faster pace or 44 miles plus a breakfast stop with friends!  Outside of this weekly scheduled ride, this group also enjoys off-roading and mountain biking.  All are welcome, but the group rides 19-28mph at an intermediate-advanced pace.
